GoMAD Scholars Learn about Sustainability

FirstFollowers' GoMAD scholars have been incredibly busy this Spring. They have been working hard on improving their construction building skills (by rebuilding a house in Champaign) but they've also done a unit on sustainability and urban gardening. During that unit, lead by Grace Walworth, the scholars learned about recycling yard waste, composting, and much more. They shared meals together (with a cooking contest), and also gained team building skills. Stay tuned for more GoMAD updates.
